Lose Belly Fat Sitting Down | Seated Abs Workout

This short 10 minute seated abs workout is all about focusing on flexing the abs to get stronger and tighter abs. Combine these sitting down chair exercises with a cardio workout to lose belly fat for a flatter stomach and stronger body. We'll go at a slower pace today to ensure time is spent truly flexing and working the abs. This is a great workout for beginners who prefer to work the abs from a seated position. Today is all about working the upper body to get stronger. We'll slow down to really feel the muscles working, and go through two sets to challenge the muscles in order to see progress. Doing upper body strength exercises is crucial to building and maintaining strength, especially for seniors. If you find the standing exercises too difficult, this I'm hoping these chair exercises will work for you. This workout can be done every second day to get the most benefits in a short period of time. Start with light weights and within a few weeks, you should be able to increase the amount of weight you are lifting to see more benefits. This is a no-talking, full-body seated intermediate workout. The workout includes a warm-up, cardio, strength exercises (including a focus on glutes and abs) and stretching. This is a step up from my usual chair workouts but if you've been with me for a while, it will hopefully be a workout you can manage. For those who want or need to work out from a chair, I hope these chair aerobics work for you. I cater my workouts to seniors so this would be an intermediate workout for seniors who are used to working out with me. We'll accomplish 2275 steps if you choose to pick up your pace in the walk/jog intervals of the workout but by all means, you can choose to walk at a slower pace if that suits you best. Since I created a standing version with 1950's themed music, I wanted to create a seated workout for those of you who can't do the standing one. This is an intermediate level workout so if you find it too fast, please just slow the pace down for yourself. I will create a gentle/beginner one soon. These chair exercises include 15 minutes of cardio, and the rest of the workout includes strength, balance and stretching exercises (which is why I call it an all-in-one workout).
