Today is day 5 of the gentle standing exercise series. Today's class is a 15 minute walk with 30 seconds of a specific exercise and then 15 seconds of either walk or rest. Work at your own pace and cater the class to suit your fitness level. Walk at home with safe, gentle exercises which are easy on the joints and suitable for both seniors and beginners. Welcome to a 30 minute gentle exercise workout created for seniors and beginners in mind. These exercises are ideal for beginners, or for anyone with medical issues and needs to exercise at a slower pace (COPD, arthritis, parkinson's). If you're feeling sluggish, give this a try! We'll be covering all of the important aspects of fitness (warm-up, balance, posture, strength, cardio and stretching). You'll be surprised by how moderate exercise can boost your energy instead of depleting it. If you follow at my pace, the final step count is 1450 steps.
